-Rank solids, liquids, and gasses in order from fastest to slowest based on the speed of their molecules and justify their shape using this ranking.

Classwork
-Compare and Contrast the motions of particles in the 3 phases of mater. Use the following examples in your explanation.Billiard balls to describe the motion of particles in a gas, Students in a crowded hallway to describe the motion of particles in a liquid, and an audience in a movie theater to describe the motion of particles in a solid.

-Create a story in which the main character "Wally the Water Molecule" changes froma solid to a liquid, to a gas and then back again. Apply what you know about the Kinetic Theory of Matter to explain how and why these changes are happening to Wally.
